MERDEK® Components
Merdek® Basecoat
EMBE® MERDEK® BASECOAT is a flexible modified polymer membrane formulated with the most advanced chemistry available to provide a tough seamless waterproofing system with excellent crack bridging capabilities. It is used as a base coat and must be top coated with EMBE® Merdek Topcoat and / or Merdek UV, depending on the system specified. Merdek Basecoat does not require a primer as it adheres tenaciously to concrete.
Typical Uses: : Parking structures / Mechanical equipment rooms Cold storage rooms / Balconies / Shower areas / Kitchen Computer rooms / Wet processing area / Anti-Fracture membrane for tile floors / For areas where solvent fumes are unacceptable

Merdek® Top Coat - 100% Solids Epoxy Wear Course
EMBE® MERDEK TOP COAT is a 100% solids, flexible epoxy that is used as the wear intermediate coat or the finish coat, depending on the system specified, in the EMBE® Merdek system. EMBE® Merdek Topcoat is odor free, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Typical Uses: Parking Garages / Balconies / Garbage Rooms Computer access floors / Sports facilities / Pedestrian walkways Piers / Loading docks

Merdek® UV - Single Component Interior and Exterior Coating
EMBE® MERDEK® UV is a single component, pigmented, water based, acrylic latex emulsion that is designed for concrete and as a topcoat for Merdek® Systems exposed to the elements.
Typical Uses: Exterior Floor and Wall Coating / Interior Floor and Wall Coating / Balconies

#151 Aggregate
#151 AGGREGATE is reprocessed rubber based aggregate used with the EMBE® Merdek System and with the Kelmar® P.C. Joint Detailing. #151 aggregate is a consistent quality, flexible aggregate with resilient durability. It is safe and non-toxic.
